This policy describes how this website handles information. The short version: this site is built to collect as little as possible, and your health information belongs in the secure patient portal, not here.
1. Health information stays in the patient portal
This website does not collect, store or transmit health information. All patient and health information you provide during registration, consultation or care is collected and handled by the Heally platform under its own Privacy Policy and applicable healthcare privacy laws, including HIPAA, not by this site. The scheduling window on this site is an embedded, secure Heally page; anything you enter there goes directly to the patient portal. The interactive tools on this site (the goal picker, the visit-prep checklist, the plan toggle and the therapy filter) run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere.
Please do not send health details to our contact email. Clinical questions belong in your private consultation.
2. What this site collects
- Information you choose to send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider may log standard server information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations.
- Referral and campaign tags. Links from this site to the patient portal include standard campaign tags (for example, that you arrived from this website, an advertisement or a promotional code). These are kept in your browser for the session and do not contain personal or health information.
- Site analytics. We may use page analytics to see which pages are visited. Analytics never receive health information, and nothing entered in the scheduler is visible to them.
3. How information is used
Only to respond to you, operate and secure the site, measure which pages are useful, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Links to other sites
Booking, evaluation and care happen on the Heally platform, which has its own Patient Terms (including the telehealth informed consent) and Privacy Policy. Heally states that its privacy practices are intended to comply with HIPAA and that it uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encryption, to help protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Other linked sites are likewise governed by their own policies.
5. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know, delete or correct personal information we hold, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising those rights. Given how little this site collects, most requests will be simple. Contact us at support@refuvia.com to make a request. For patient data held by the Heally platform, direct requests to Heally per its privacy policy.
6. Data retention and security
Emails you send are retained only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. We use commercially reasonable safeguards; no method of transmission is 100% secure.
7. Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
8. Changes
Updates will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
